I’m often asked if you purchase a ZamZuu Website, can you upgrade to the Travel Agent program. The answer is, Yes You Can! You still can work your ZamZuu eCommerce site as you normally would (get cash back and earn commissions when you and others shop, etc).

With your ZamZuu Travel Portal, you have access to flights, car rentals, hotels, cruises, vacation packages, passports, travel insurance… basic travel products and services. But the only thing you are limited to booking directly off of your site.

If you want to work directly with vendors and put together customized package trips or book group travel, you have to upgrade (Travel Agents are required to work with a host agency, similar to how a real estate agent has to work under a broker)

What is the Difference between ZamZuu Travel & Travel Agent Program? I going to share more detail about the benefits and how the Travel Agent program works. 

ZamZuu Travel you earn 50% of (soon to be 30% with the new free program) the vendor commission’s book from your website. You do not have access to Travel training nor do you have the ability to move up in commissions, you are just limited to getting bookings directly from your website.

The ZamZuu Travel Agent Program can earn you anywhere from 50% to 100% of the vendor commission, plus you have access to online training, media video training and more. Your travel booking engine will be more robust and you will have more offering as a travel agent website owner.

 

If you are part of the Travel Agent Program, you start-off at 50%, but you move up in commissions as you complete online travel training.  The required training for you to book directly with vendors is called, First Class Training, which is a series of videos that gives you an overview on how to book travel, how to work with vendors, ethics, group travel training and more.  

The First Class Training is exceptional and gives you more flexibility and freedom with your travel business.  This training moves you up to 60% commissions and moves you to an RTA – Referring Travel Agent status; you can get a credential card that will open you up to take advantage of travel industry ‘courtesy’ discounts.

If you want to get more in-depth training you could opt to take the 10 e-Campus modules, which after completing this training, your designation moves to Travel Agent and your commission moves up to 70% of the vendor commissions.  From this point your commission can move up to 100% depending on sales you make in a 12 month period.  In addition to moving up in commissions, you can qualify for bonuses and free health and life insurance (again, based on the amount of sales in a 12-month period).

 

Your travel training is just not limited with the company; you can really get into industry and get various industry credentials, like the CLIA.  Getting involved in the industry so helps your business stand out and make you more knowledgeable about the industry.
